Definition: Derisive term for a west coast sailor, used almost exclusively by east coast sailors. (Strangely, there seems to be no corresponding term for east coast sailors).
Example: "Okay, I'll grant you've got climate, scenery, mountains, and great port visits. But you're still...uh...a sandy bottom sailor!"
